New from THS Music Boosters
We're exploring the creation of the Topsail Community Band and other community music opportunities for the Hampstead and Surf City area. Before we build it, we want to hear from the people who would actually be part of it.
Version 0.9 — a community discovery survey, not a finalized program
The Idea
Inspired by programs like UNCW's Summer Concert Series, we're exploring what a community music program could become here in Topsail. Our vision may eventually include multiple ensembles and opportunities — but first we want to hear what our community wants.
If there's enough interest, we hope to offer a welcoming place for adult musicians and singers to make music together, with the Topsail High School Music Boosters supporting the effort. Concerts, if they happen, would be free and open to the community.

An initiative of
The Topsail High School Music Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports band, chorus, guard, and music education at Topsail High School. A community music program is a natural extension of that mission — bringing current, former, and future Pirates together around music.
Guided by
A small advisory committee will work under the Boosters Board to review responses, outline a possible program structure, and recommend next steps. This is a community-driven pilot, not a separate organization.
