About the ensemble
Symphonic Band is an open-enrollment ensemble — a welcoming home for musicians who are not yet auditioning for Wind Ensemble, and for many incoming freshmen and sophomores. The group focuses on essential tone production, instrumental technique, ensemble skills, and musicianship so members are prepared to advance into Wind Ensemble repertoire.
Recognition
Symphonic Band has earned Superior ratings at the NCBA Music Performance Adjudication.
Season & repertoire
Rehearsals run throughout the school year. The group performs at the Fall, Winter, and Spring concerts and at NCBA MPA in the spring.

No audition required — sign up through the Music Department during course registration or contact Mr. Wentzek.
