About the ensemble
Wind Ensemble is an audition-only ensemble — Topsail High School's premier symphonic band. The group performs the finest literature written for winds, including traditional wind band repertoire, marches, transcriptions, and contemporary works.
Recognition
Wind Ensemble has earned a Superior rating every year at the NCBA Music Performance Adjudication since 2017.
Season & repertoire
Rehearsals run throughout the school year. The ensemble performs at the Fall, Winter, and Spring concerts, NCBA MPA in the spring, and community performances.

Auditions are held each spring for the following school year. Contact Mr. Wentzek for audition materials.
